A new way to interface with the brain

SCROLL TO EXPLORE

Thinner than a human hair, Layer 7 is inserted under the scalp with our micro-slit incision technique.

The array is designed to gently conform to the brain’s surface, without penetrating it.

High density electrodes both record and stimulate, allowing precise, bidirectional communication with the brain.

Brain signals are translated into commands for digital devices—turning the intention to type into typing itself.

THE RESULT

The system enables control of devices through thought alone.

A Transformative Design

  • Thinner than a human hair, allowing insertion through a micro-slit

  • Gently conforms to the surface of the brain, without damaging tissue

  • Cosmetically discreet, wireless connection

  • Designed for safe removal and replacement

  • 1,024 electrodes on an area the size of a postage stamp

  • Real-time recording and transmission of neural activity

  • Non-damaging design supports placement of multiple arrays, covering more brain area

MANUFACTURING

A technology this groundbreaking can’t be built by just anyone. So we do it ourselves.

Ranveir owns a 22,000 square foot micro-electrical mechanical systems (MEMS) fabrication facility located in Addison, Texas to manufacture our high-channel microelectrode arrays.

Our breakthrough manufacturing techniques push the limits of what’s possible in biocompatible microfabrication.

We can efficiently advance new versions of our device, while scaling to meet growing demand.

Maintaining full oversight over production ensures we can not only meet FDA and industry standards—we can exceed them.
